A short drive west of Nubeena is Roaring Beach. Though mostly a low-density residential area, Roaring Beach Road ends with a car park and access to a stunning conservation area and south west facing beach that is guaranteed to impress. After parking, follow a short trail over sand dunes to what many feel is a place preserved from Jurassic times. Wild and often windy, swimming and surfing here should be done with extreme caution as rips are known to be strong and wild.
